Optimum Quality has developed a computational tool for direct and simply application of mathematical models by the different agents of the food industry, to be used for example in the determination of commercial life among other functions. Prediction Olix thus provides a simple and fast way for developing a first estimate of microbiological risk, through simulations, “in silico” for specific conditions. Furthermore, the stochastic approach allows to consider all possible risk scenarios for the broadest possible view of the case analyzed.
Olix Prediction is presented as a support tool in determining the useful life based on microbiological criteria. The tool allows for a level of interest of a particular microorganism, calculating the time required to reach the set level, based on mathematical models on the application.
